Traveling to the White House:
The closest Metrorail stations to White House are 'Federal Triangle' (Blue and Orange lines), 'Metro Center' (Blue, Orange, and Red lines), and 'McPherson Square (Blue and Orange lines). On-Street parking is not available near the White House, but multiple public parking garages are located around the few blocks outside of the White House complex. The White House Visitor Center is open to the public from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, 7-days a week. The Visitor Center is located at the intersection of 15th and E Streets, NW. Allow between twenty (20) minutes to one (1) hour to explore the exhbits. The White House has partnered with the Google Art Project and allowed their 360-degree Street View cameras to capture the rooms that are featured on the White House tour. Now anyone, anywhere, can experience the history and art of the White House via their computer.
