August Jobs & Justice Tour
Congressman G. K. Butterfield is launching new stops on his 2017 Jobs & Justice Tour of North Carolina’s First Congressional District, holding a series of events to hear from constituents, elected officials, and community leaders on issues relating to healthcare, jobs, and education.
Today, too many families in America are stuggling to make ends meet. Incomes and wages are not keeping up with the cost of living for many Americans. Congressman Butterfield's mission is to help more working families get ahead by supporting the creation of new jobs to help more North Carolinians secure good-paying, full-time jobs with a promising future, and ensuring that workers have access to the tools they need to fill the jobs of the 21st century. With the right priorities and the right vision, our region can have economic growth that produces jobs and a better future for more Americans.
